Perth Festival of the Arts

Perth Flower Club have once again done the floral arrangements for Perth Festival of the Arts.  Here we see Helen Jackson (left) and Janice Sloan (right) putting the finishing touches to their beautiful arrangements in Perth Concert Hall.

And some of the ladies who decorated St John's Kirk.  From the left we have Eleanor Crichton, Maggie Corke, and Margaret Folan.

The next meeting of Perth Flower Club is on 5th September, with demonstrations and hands-on classes.

May 2022 meeting

The last meeting before the summer break was most enjoyable thanks to demonstrator Jane Gordon with her title "Celebrate".  Jane was very entertaining with her many stories of key moments she has celebrated as a demonstrator.  We see her here with her "Celebration of Spring".  Many thanks for a great night.

April 2022 meeting

Mrs Susan Fairhurst with one of her wonderful arrangements she created for Perth Flower Club. Susan kept us well entertained with all her stories and adventures as a demonstrator.

At the meeting the joint Presidency of Myra Brian (not pictured) and Margo Kettles was announced.  Here we see out-going Chairman Maggie Corke presenting Margo (on the left) with the President's broach.

And out-going Chairman Maggie Corke (right) presenting the badge of office to the new Chairman of Perth Flower Club, Mrs Lindsay Gibson (left).  Many congratulations to Lindsay, Myra and Margo!

Christmas 2021 meeting

Perth Flower Club's Christmas night was a very jolly affair, despite there being no nibbles or punch due to Covid, however Santa did leave some chocolates on every chair as a little treat.

Pamela Galloway was the demonstrator and was in excellent form.  She kept the audience well entertained with funny stories of how she loves a bargain and foraging in her "Foraging for Christmas" demonstration.  Thanks Pamela for a super night!

March 2020 meeting

Annette Stoker with one of her exhibits. Thanks for coming all the way from Inverness on such a miserable night also thanks to hubby John for his help.

February 2020 meeting

Pamela Galloway got Perth Flower Club off to a good start for season 2020 and in spite of the atrocious weather there was a decent turn out.  Pamela told us she hadn’t been demonstrating very long - well you would never have guessed as she had some good stories and a wicked sense of humour.  Pamela also interacted well with her audience.
